6. Informing patients about SABA over-reliance through the prescription label (SystmOne only)
You can edit the template prescription label for SABA inhalers so that patients are automatically informed about SABA over-reliance every time they receive their prescription.
The process
Step 1: Edit prescription template
Edit the prescription templates for all SABA inhalers to include information about SABA over-reliance.

If you need your reliever (salbutamol) inhaler 3 or more times in a week, or use 3 or more inhalers in a year, this could mean your asthma treatment needs improving. Please make an appointment with the nurse/ doctor to discuss.
