GIFH Programme Lead – applications closed
Job Title: Programme Lead for Green Impact for Health Toolkit
Description of Role: Greener Practice is delighted to be taking over the running of RCGP’s GIFH toolkit, which was created and has been developed by Dr Terry Kemple over the last decade. We have the honour of continuing his work with funding from RCGP to support the following post. We are seeking a primary care clinician, Band 8 or above, with a strong interest in sustainable healthcare. See job description for details.
Summary:
Job Type: Fixed term contract for three years, potentially extendable
Hours: 1 session (4 hours 10 mins) average per week (see job description for full details), home-based, flexible
Hours may be subject to change at 6 month review.
Annual Leave: 4 weeks (pro rata) per year
Probation Period: 3 months
Remuneration: £68,250 pro rata (37.5 hours FTE)
Employment status: Employed
Start date: April/ May 2026 (subject to satisfactory completion of relevant pre-employment checks)

We have a fantastic group of volunteers who help Greener Practice. We’re happy to welcome volunteers interested in gaining experience in sustainable healthcare.
