Good for patients, practices and the planet
£2.1b
in potential savings
£2.1 billion per year could be saved in health costs if everyone in England had good access to green space. Our projects can boost nature and support healthier lives for patients and staff.
£300m
of medicines wasted per year
£300 million of NHS medicines are wasted each year. 30-50% of long-term condition medications are not taken as intended. Our projects improve patient care, save money & cut waste.
23%
of NHS’ carbon footprint
Primary care drives nearly 25% of NHS carbon emissions—mostly from medicines. Our projects improve prescribing, cut emissions, and boost patient outcomes.
